Welcome to the official policies of High Tea Music. To ensure clarity for all our visitors, customers, and event attendees, we have combined our General Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy onto this single page.
By visiting our website, purchasing merchandise, or buying a ticket to one of our events, you agree to the terms outlined below.
PART 1: GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Article 1 – Definitions

High Tea Music: VOF High Tea Music, established in The Hague, Chamber of Commerce (KVK) no. 68441827.

Customer: The person with whom High Tea Music has entered into an agreement (including ticket buyers and webshop customers).

Parties: High Tea Music and Customer together.

Consumer: A Customer who is an individual acting for private purposes.

Venue: The physical location/club where a High Tea Music event takes place.
Article 2 – Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all quotations, offers, activities, orders, agreements, deliveries of services or products, and event tickets sold by or on behalf of High Tea Music. Deviations from these conditions are only valid if explicitly agreed upon in writing. The applicability of supplementary and/or deviating general terms and conditions of the Customer or third parties is expressly excluded.
Article 3 – Event Ticketing & Entry

No Refunds for Non-Attendance: If a Customer cannot attend an event for any personal reason (illness, scheduling conflicts, transportation issues, etc.), High Tea Music does not offer refunds.

Reselling: Customers who cannot attend are advised to use official, secure resale platforms such as TicketSwap. Depending on the Venue and event, tickets may be strictly bound to the buyer’s name. It is the Customer’s responsibility to verify if personalized tickets can be transferred.

Event Cancellations & Postponements: If High Tea Music cancels, postpones, or changes the Venue of an event, Customers will be offered the opportunity to request a refund.

Line-Up Changes: High Tea Music events feature multiple artists. Changes to the line-up, including the cancellation of a specifically billed headliner, do not entitle the Customer to an automatic refund. While High Tea Music will always strive to provide a worthy substitute in the event of a cancellation, the inability to do so does not guarantee a refund. Any refunds issued under these circumstances are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and granted strictly at the sole discretion of High Tea Music.

Age Limits & ID: Age requirements vary per event and Venue. Customers are strictly responsible for checking the official age limits on highteamusic.nl or the ticketing platform prior to purchase. A valid ID must be presented upon request. If a Customer is denied entry for failing to meet the age requirement or failing to provide valid identification, absolutely no refunds will be issued.
Article 4 – House Rules & Security at Events

Searches: By attending a High Tea Music event, the Customer explicitly consents to voluntary bag checks and body searches (frisking) by security personnel at the entrance or inside the Venue. Refusal to cooperate will result in immediate denial of entry without a refund.

Zero Tolerance / Contraband: Weapons are strictly prohibited at all events. For policies regarding drugs, medication, and outside food or beverages, the specific house rules of the Venue apply. It is the Customer’s responsibility to review the Venue’s policies. Confiscation of prohibited items does not entitle the Customer to compensation.

Ejection Policy: Security personnel and Venue staff reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any Customer from the event without a refund if they: fail to follow instructions, violate house rules, are overly intoxicated, behave aggressively, or cause a disturbance to others.

Tokens & Payments: Payment systems (cash, cards, tokens) depend entirely on the Venue. If a Venue uses a token system, the rules regarding the validity, refundability, and expiration of those tokens are determined solely by the Venue. High Tea Music holds no authority or liability regarding unspent tokens.
Article 5 – Photography, Media & Recording

High Tea Music events are recorded. By entering the event premises, the Customer consents to being photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded.

High Tea Music, its partners, and accredited media reserve the right to use this media for promotional purposes, aftermovies, social media, and commercial exploitation without any obligation to provide compensation to the Customer.
Article 6 – Liability Disclaimer (Events)

Entering at Own Risk: Attending a High Tea Music event is entirely at the Customer’s own risk.

Hearing Protection: High Tea Music events involve loud music. Preventing hearing damage is solely the Customer’s responsibility. We strongly recommend bringing appropriate hearing protection. While earplugs may often be available for purchase at the Venue, this is not guaranteed. High Tea Music accepts no liability for any hearing damage or related physical ailments.

Lost & Stolen Items: High Tea Music is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen personal belongings. This includes items left in the Venue’s cloakroom or lockers. The Venue is solely responsible for handling the cloakroom, lockers, and lost & found procedures. Customers must follow the Venue’s policies regarding lost items.
Article 7 – Webshop Prices & Payments

All prices used by High Tea Music are in euros, inclusive of VAT, and exclusive of any other costs such as administration costs, levies, and shipping or transport expenses, unless expressly stated otherwise.

High Tea Music reserves the right to adjust all prices for its products or services at any time.

High Tea Music may require a down payment of up to 100% of the agreed amount at the conclusion of the agreement. The Customer must have paid the full amount within 7 days after delivery of the product.

If the Customer does not pay within the agreed term, High Tea Music is entitled to charge an interest of 1% per month from the day the Customer is in default, alongside extrajudicial collection costs.

High Tea Music remains the owner of all delivered products until the Customer has fully complied with all its payment obligations (Retention of Title).
Article 8 – Right of Cancellation (Webshop Merchandise)

A Consumer may cancel an online merchandise purchase during a cooling-off period of 14 days without giving any reason, provided that the product has not been used, tailored, or unsealed (in the case of digital data carriers/hygiene products).

EXCLUSION FOR TICKETS: By European law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to products concerning a specific form of leisure activity on a specific date. Therefore, event tickets are strictly excluded from the 14-day cooling-off period and cannot be returned or cancelled.

To return merchandise, the Consumer can notify their right of cancellation via shop@highteamusic.nl. The costs for return shipping are to be paid by the Customer.
Article 9 – Delivery & Right of Retention

Delivery takes place while stocks last. Order processing takes place at Steenplaetsstraat 2c, 2288 AA Rijswijk, unless otherwise agreed.

High Tea Music can appeal to its right of retention and retain the products sold until the Customer has paid all outstanding invoices.

It is VOF High Tea Music’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. We have adopted this privacy policy to explain what information may be collected on our Website, how we use this information, and under what circumstances we may disclose the information to third parties.
1. What data and personal details do we collect?
High Tea Music collects personal data in order to service or reach our customers. This includes buyers of our services and products or persons who interact with VOF High Tea Music.

Secondly, we collect additional information after you give ‘marketing consent’ to VOF High Tea Music.
Examples of data we collect include: First name, last name, phone number, email address, and physical address. Data and personal information from persons under the age of 16 will only be stored if absolutely necessary in delivering or handling their purchased products and services.
2. Website Visitors & IP Addresses
Like most website operators, VOF High Tea Music collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. We use this to better understand how visitors use the website.
We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users and for users leaving comments on our blog posts.
3. What do we do with your personal details?
Your details and information will be used to build a profile so we can notify you about new events, releases, merchandise, and other updates from High Tea Music.
Data Partners: Your data is processed, stored, and handled by our trusted partners: cm.com, Innnercrowd, Weeztix, and Bash. VOF High Tea Music keeps the ownership of data on all databases. We will never sell data from our databases, but it might be shared with third parties for projects we are directly involved in. Data might only be sold once VOF High Tea Music is sold as a whole and continues under a different company.
4. E-commerce
Those who engage in transactions with VOF High Tea Music—by purchasing services, tickets, or products—are asked to provide additional information, including the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, we collect such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction.
5. Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Retention: How long will we keep your information?
We will keep your personal details, if unused, for a maximum of 5 years or less. Whenever you interact with us (buying a ticket, for example), this period will be reset, and we start counting down again.
Your Rights: If you wish to access your data or have your data removed from our database, you can send us a request via e-mail at any time. It’s also possible to unsubscribe from receiving e-mails, SMS, and WhatsApp campaigns without removing your profile.
7. Advertisements & Remarketing
